Tunde and I met at a mutual friend's wedding in 2018. Tunde approached me towards the end of the reception and asked for my Instagram handle. The conversation lasted about five minutes or less. I honestly, didn't think much about it at the time.

Shortly after, he sent a few messages on Instagram. I responded, until I stopped responding (hehe). That's what we call, “left on read”. We began messaging again on Instagram in 2020,  this time about stocks. I noticed he would always post good insight and I was interested in investing but as a beginner.

Shortly after him schooling me on investments, he asked me out to dinner later in the week and I agreed. Yes, in the middle of the pandemic shame on us lol.  I mean, how could I say no when he gave me free information on how to make more money lol? We finally exchanged numbers. We texted and called for a few days before dinner; which took place on a Tuesday night. Funny enough we both showed up in white. In my head, I thought oh great everyone will think we are a matching couple. As the night went on, we quickly realized he knew a lot of my family members. Which is very much expected being that I come from a big family. 

About an hour into dinner, a stranger approached us to let us know how great we looked together and even offered to take our picture. Although we obliged, I knew exactly what the guy meant; it was the white lol. After that night, we pretty much hung out every weekend and the rest is history.
